The Amber Alert Network provides an Internet-based method to quickly and effectively spread the word about an Amber Alert which has been issued in your community. We do this through the use of proprietary IP Address-to-Zip Code correlation technology. Each user of the Internet possesses an IP Address which does, in most instances, correlate to a Zip Code in close proximity to the machine using the Internet (e.g., you!). While this technology is effective in most cases, it is not without error.

If we had information concerning an Amber Alert in your vicinity, the graphic you would see would be that which is visible to the right. Clicking on that graphic would take you to a page providing further detailed information concerning the Amber Alert issued in, or near, your community.

• If you support our efforts to provide more accurate and expeditious information concerning Amber Alerts in, or near, your community
• If the machine you are now using is your own machine
• If your machine is fairly static in it's location (not a laptop for instance)
• If you do not mind that a cookie containing your actual Zip Code be placed on your machine
